STUDIES 

A. CONCERNING HOME WORK 

Home work is given with two main objectives: 

i) To provide exercise, to increase progress, to enhance learning and to acquire skill. 

ii) To test and ascertain progress and skill acquired Homework has to be done regularly. Teachers will go through the home work and suggest necessary correction. 

B. EXAMINATIONS 

i) Beside the Terminal and Final Examinations, there are the mid-term Unit tests conducted regularly. Results of these will be taken into consideration for promotion. 

ii) The reports sent through the pupils must be signed by the parent or guardian and returned within three days. 

iii) No examination will be held before or after the time fixed for the examinations whatever be the reason. 

iv) No re-examination will be held before or after the time fixed for the examinations whatever be the reason. 

v) Pupils should submit a Medical Certificate along with the leave letter if they are ill during the examination. 

vi) A delay in the payments of fees shall debar a pupil from sitting for any examination. 

vii) Promotion is decided at the Staff Council. Hence results are final and cannot be reconsidered. 

C. PROGRESS REPORTS & OPEN DAY 

Parents are expected to come without fail for the OPEN DAYS, to meet the teacher and check the academic progress of the child and to make a special effort to study those subjects in which they are weak.

 D. MALPRACTICE 

A student caught copying or indulging in any other malpractice, will not be allowed to take a subsequent examination until the principal grants him written permission to take the other examinations. Such a student may be dismissed from the school. 

E. PROMOTION 

All matters regarding the promotion of the students are left to the discretion of the principal whose decision will be final. No pupil who fails for two years in succession will be kept in the school.
